A new award was added this year: the 2019 No Stone Unturned Award. Mayor Rick Reinbold, Village of Richton Park, presented it to Rick Bryant for his tireless work as a Senior Advisor to Congresswoman Robin Kelly in support of South Suburban Airport. After that, Xochitl Flores, Director of the Cook County Bureau of Economic Development, spoke to Cook County's commitment to the Chicago Southland. Reggie Greenwood, Director of CSEDC, closed the event with a special thank you to all the people who supported the Big Shoes.

Proceeds from this reception support the Southworks Engineering and Robotics Challenge, which helps get high school students excited about potential careers in manufacturing. We found that key manufacturing companies believe Engineering and Robotic Clubs at our High Schools are essential to their long term success. We look forward showcasing the impact that your support has made on the lives of young people in the fields of infrastructure and manufacturing.

Thanks everyone who supported and came to the event! We appreciate your continued support, especially from our loyal CSEDC Sponsors. We cannot do this alone, we rely on your continued mentorship, education, and financial support!
